No break-in period at all, which surprised me for leather boots. The footbed is cushioned and the ankle support is great for my walks with the dog. They look much more expensive than they are.

Finally, boots that don't hurt my feet
I have plantar fasciitis and finding boots I can actually wear all day has been a nightmare. These have real arch support, not the flat insoles most boots come with. I wore them for a full 8-hour shift the second day I had them and my feet felt fine. Ordered my usual size 8 and the fit was spot on.
Great support, consider sizing up
Really solid boots with good arch support. My only note is they run a touch narrow in the toe, so if you're between sizes I'd go up half a size. Once I swapped for the 7.5 they were perfect. Comfortable enough for errands all morning.
